The 4100ESi panel may have one or more sets of controls fitted for operating smoke fans
or dampers. This is an optional configuration.
Generally, these controls are configured to operate as described below.

Fan control
Description
AUTO
The 4100ESi automatically operates the fan or damper system when there is an alarm.
STOP
Stops the fan or damper, regardless of the alarm conditions.
START
Starts the fan or damper, regardless of the alarm conditions.

The red ON indicator indicates that the fan has been started or the damper has been
closed under automatic or manual control.
The green OFF indicator indicates that the fan has been stopped or the damper has been
opened under automatic or manual control.
The yellow FLT indicator indicates that there is a fault in the fan system. This is
accompanied by one or more specific fault events in the FAULTS
tab.
